LUCKY DOG – 2016 Daytime Emmy Winner for Outstanding Special Class Series!

Animal trainer Brandon McMillan’s second home is the neighborhood animal shelter where he is determined to rescue hard-to-love, out-of control, untrained and unadoptable dogs. Then, back at Brandon’s training facility known as the Lucky Dog Ranch, he embarks on the seemingly impossible task of rehabilitating them to become perfect pets. Once he evaluates the dogs to see what they do and don’t know Brandon then gets to work on them. Training obedience and solving their issues. From there he decides on the ideal family for the dog. Sometimes they’re trained to be a great pet; other times they’re trained to be a service dog for someone in need. Lucky Dog is an Emmy nominated series on CBS that not only changes the lives of dogs, but also people. “People often tell me how their dog I got them actually seemed to save their life. That’s two lives saved.” Says McMillan.
